What is EWOT (Exercise with Oxygen Therapy)
Terry SheltonEWOT stands for Exercise with Oxygen Therapy. It is a form of therapy (or better) training that generally involves combining exercise with the administration of supplemental oxygen. During an EWOT session, an individual can exercise on a stationary bike, treadmill, or similar equipment while wearing a comfortable mask that allows breathing in of high levels of oxygen and then exhaling CO2 out into the room.
A typical exercise session lasts for about 15 minutes and can be performed at a leisurely pace for beginners. To gain EWOT benefits, beginners should start with a couple of sessions a week until they have begun to see results. Then additional sessions can be added. Higher trained individuals can exercise at an athletic pace which could include short spurt high intensity efforts with an in-between period of slower exercise (HIIT). Additional health benefits are afforded those that can get their intensity of EWOT training to higher level. Our EWOT system is the best EWOT system for those that desire to use EWOT at high intensity levels.
